It is with sadness that we announce the death of Wiel Mackus.

Our striking, versatile and ever-ready man from the very beginning.

We are greatly indebted to him.

He will remain in our thoughts as an honorary member of our foundation.

In accordance with his wishes, we are surprised and grateful to offer you the opportunity to support our foundation with your donation.

This project is a tribute to 363 people who had the courage to fight for the freedom and rights of their fellow man. The freedom and rights that our society today sometimes less cares about. It is now up to us to set an example by doing the right thing and showing respect and honoring those who never enjoyed freedom.

They died lonely far from home and often disappeared in anonymous graves. Through this adoption project we will try to give them a face and their stories are told again.
